Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary appeals for festive light donations
Unused fairy lights and tinsel can find a new home, bringing cheer to rescued animals.
Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary is appealing to the Randfontein community to donate unwanted Christmas lights and decorations to help brighten its premises this festive season.
Under the message, ‘Help us light up Cast Aways’, the sanctuary hopes to give unused festive items a second life while bringing some Christmas cheer to its surroundings.
Residents are encouraged to donate fairy lights, Christmas decorations and other festive items they no longer use. The organisation also urges the community to share the appeal with friends and family.
How to contribute
“Every light counts, and every decoration helps,” is the message behind the initiative.
Those wishing to contribute or find out more can contact sanctuary director Louisa Rossouw on 072 812 3333.
Donations can be delivered to 26 Johanna Street, Wilbotsdal AH, Randfontein.
