Another area to be hit with planned power outage tomorrow

Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has confirmed that yet another area will experience a power outage tomorrow, July 17, from 08:00 to 16:00, this time in Bootha Plots.

RWCLM spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa explained that the power outage is due to the installation of arc relays on the feeder panel located at Drowell Power Station. He advised residents to treat all electrical installations as live and prepare in advance for the outage.

“The municipality apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates your patience and understanding,” said Montshiwa.
