Calls for comment on Land Use Scheme

Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has issued a notice of its intention to prepare a Land Use Scheme, and affected parties are invited to provide comment on the matter.

Spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa stated in terms of Section 21 of the RWCLM SPLUMA By-Law (2017), interested and affected parties are invited to submit written comments on the Draft Rand West City Land Use Scheme.

He added, any person wishing to provide comment shall:
• do so within 60 days from the day of publication (July 22)
• provide written comments
• provide their contact details

Copies of the document will be available at the municipal offices located at the corner of Sutherland and Pollock Street from Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:00 and from Friday from 07:30 to 15:00. Residents can also locate the document on the website at https://www.randwestcity.gov.za/.
