A few streets in Randgate are currently without power due to a cable fault.

The outage is affecting Tudhope, parts of Smuts, Bailey, Sauer and Henning streets, as confirmed by Rand West City Local Municipality spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa.

The municipality’s electrical team is on site to conduct tests to determine the extent of the fault.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding,” concluded Montshiwa.
