The water supply in Toekomsrus Ext 2 and the surrounding areas is temporarily interrupted due to a burst pipe.

Rand West City Local Municipality spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa confirmed that a burst pipe was reported in the area on October 30.

He noted that the maintenance team is on site, repairing the damaged pipe.

“The municipality intends to restore the water supply as soon as possible. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this period,” Montshiwa concluded.
