Residents invited to take part in clean-up campaign

Residents of Greenhills are invited to make a difference in their community during the upcoming clean-up campaign.

Ward 9 (Greenhills) residents are invited to a clean-up campaign to better their environment.

Ward 9 councillor, Tewie Botha, stated a clean-up of the park area next to Tier Street and Rietbok Road will take place on November 15 from 09:00 to 13:00.

The theme will be Clean Environment and Info Table.

“All residents are invited to join us with refuse bags, rakes, spades, gloves and vehicles to transport refuse to the municipal dumping site. We will install a gazebo and other equipment at the T-junction,” said Botha.

He added that the Ward 9 task team will also give feedback on the way forward with regard to service delivery.
