Mohlakeng resident and iconic actor dies age 84

A dark cloud has fallen over the country’s entertainment industry after Randfontein resident and iconic actor Patric Ndlovu passed away at the age of 84.

The exact details surrounding his death remain unclear. Moonyeenn Lee Associates (MLA SA), which managed and represented the multi-award-winning actor, announced the tragic news on social media.

Born and bred in Mohlakeng, Ndlovu graced popular drama series on our TV screens such as Yizo YizoZone 14 and Sarafina where his career spanned over four decades

According to a statement issued, Ndlovu was a kind gentleman.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of legendary actor Patrick Ndlovu.

“We were proud to represent such a consummate professional and majestic talent. He was always ready with a smile even when times were tough. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, family, and friends,” read the statement.
