Traffic affected by multi-vehicle crash in Helikon Park

The driver of a light motor vehicle crashed into a bakkie which then crashed into an SUV on Tuesday morning.

Traffic was backed up on Condor Street in Helikon Park due to a multi-vehicle collision involving three cars on Tuesday morning (September 26).

The crash occurred just before 08:00.

According to information gathered at the scene, the driver of an SUV was travelling on Condor Road at the time and was waiting to turn right onto Vink Street before the crash happened.

Behind him was a bakkie who allegedly waited to turn as well.

It was during this time that the driver of a light motor vehicle, who was allegedly speeding, crashed into the bakkie which led to the bakkie crashing into the SUV.

No serious injuries were reported at the scene.
