RandWest SPCA on the road again

The RandWest SPCA can once again help the animals in need after a local business reaches out.

The RandWest SPCA’s bakkie has been repaired thanks to the kind-hearted folks of a local business.

The manager at the RandWest SPCA, Rene van Straten, explained Monument Toyota Randfontein reached out to them after they asked for the community’s help to repair their vehicles. The business then decided to repair their bakkie free of charge.

“We are grateful and relieved. Without the community’s help and support we simply wouldn’t be able to continue our work,” said Rene.

She noted the first thing they plan on doing is catching up with the work they weren’t able to do and getting back to their animals in the community.

She added at this stage they do however need the community’s help to pay for their fuel.

“We are grateful towards Toyota, they also offered to help with our other vehicle in the future as well,” concluded Rene.
