Time2Rise prayer group introduces themselves

Time2Rise is taking hands to pray for the community.

The countrywide organisation Time2Rise, aimed at praying for the well-being of the community, is now taking hands in Randfontein.

Marelize Serfontein from the organisation explained they put up a cross on the corner of the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein as one enters the town from Krugersdorp. It is also where they gather to pray from 18:00 every Monday.

She noted they are not affiliated with any business or church and simply gather and pray for their community. This includes praying for unemployment, poverty, the distribution and abuse of drugs and they ask for the blessing of the community. She noted the larger Time2Rise circle sends them prayer points each week, however, people are welcome to include a request they might have.

Marelize explained, “Our vision is to see Randfontein united as one community under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.”

She mentioned they plan to achieve this through projects in the community including the planting of the cross, the prayer group as well as prayer walks, and other community outreaches. Any person who wants to know more about the group can visit their Facebook page Time2Rise Randfontein.
