Crazy and colourful socks for a purpose

Funky Socks Day is celebrated at Palm Estates to donate towards Early Childhood Development.

Palm Estates will join in on the fun and celebrate National Funky Socks Day.

Funky Socks Day is celebrated on September 13 and it showcases a variety of interesting and funny socks. This year Palm Estates decided to celebrate the day by wearing their crazy socks to work.

Some funky socks up close.

This is according to the organiser of the Funky Socks Day and employee of Palm Estates, Ansie Fourie.

She added not only are they wearing colourful coverings for their feet but also doing it to donate towards Breadline Africa’s cause. Breadline Africa is encouraging people to rock their funky socks so that they can equip 50 Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres with educational resources for less fortunate children.
