Business comes to Cast Aways’ financial rescue
On the brink of closure, Cast Aways has received much-needed support from a local business.
A home décor company has found it in their hearts to help Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary financially.

Antoinette Esterhuizen and Mariaan Botha from the business realised the importance of supporting animal organisations, especially those working to save and protect abandoned animals. That is why they decided to make a positive impact and donate to Cast Aways.
The business will provide financial donations, goods, and help create awareness.
It is important to support such organisations because they usually have limited resources to help animals.
“With the community’s help, these organisations can rescue abused and abandoned pets. By donating, a person can also help rescue these animals,” Antoinette and Mariaan said.
They would like to spread awareness regarding responsible pet ownership.
“This includes the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent animal overpopulation, as well as providing loving, safe homes for animals in need. Also, be aware of the financial and emotional commitments that come with caring for a pet, and support animal organisations that assist those who do not have the means to care for a pet,” they concluded.
