Red carpet ready: Indumiso Ye Tende awards debut in style

Ngonyama Music will host a first-of-its-kind red carpet award ceremony to celebrate the talent of local artists, and residents are invited to be part of this stylish occasion.

Ngonyama Music invites all gospel enthusiasts who appreciate traditional tent-revival melodies to attend the inaugural Indumiso Ye Tende Music Awards, a celebration of local talent.

On November 28, a notable red carpet event will kick off at Ubuntu Estate on the R559 at 16:00, followed by the main event at 18:00. This is according to artist Khanyo Nyombolo, who will also be part of the award ceremony.

Khanyo explained that residents who value traditional gospel music are welcome to join, as artists will be celebrated for their hard work during the year. Residents can expect to be entertained by various musicians in the gospel industry, like Sipho Ngwenya.

“This event will be the first of its kind, and we intend to someday expand to even allow residents and fans to vote for their local favourites,” Khanyo expressed.

Anyone interested in more information about the awards ceremony can visit the Facebook page at Indumiso Ye Tende or contact 078 463 8036.
