Kids Fun Fest launched to keep youngsters safe and active

One community member decided to make a difference by treating children to a day of fun activities.

After noticing the lack of activities available for children in his community, Mohlakeng resident Pule Msabe decided to step in and make a difference by hosting a Kids Fun Fest.

Pule explained that he cares deeply for children and wanted to treat them to a day filled with fun activities. His aim was also to keep them off the streets and away from drugs. As an added opportunity, he allowed the children to sell food from stalls so they could earn a profit for themselves.

He added that he is currently in the process of registering an NPO to further support the community.

Although this was his first event, Pule said he plans to host another one before Christmas.
