Tutor centre steps up to help flood-affected families in Mpumalanga, Limpopo – you can too

A local tutor centre is urging the community to support families affected by the floods in Limpopo and Mpumalanga through donations.

The Ludo Tutor Centre in Randfontein has stepped forward to assist families affected by the recent floods in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

The centre’s owner and principal, Alma Potgieter, said they have launched a community initiative to support those impacted by the floods.

“We are calling on the community to help families who have been affected by the floods in Limpopo and Mpumalanga,” Alma said.

The centre is appealing for donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, baby formula, nappies and bottled water.

Potgieter added that all donated items will be collected on January 25 for distribution to the affected families. Donations must be dropped off by January 24 at 14:00 at the centre, 130 Kenneth Road, Greenhills.

“Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by the floods. Thank you for your kindness, generosity and continued support as we stand together to help those in need,” she said.
