Faith unites women at Wailing Women gathering
Women from across local communities gathered in Mohlakeng for a day of worship, prayer, and encouragement that left many spiritually renewed and inspired.
Women from different communities came together on July 25 for a powerful spiritual gathering hosted by WASH Ministries in Mohlakeng.
The event, titled Wailing Women, was hosted by Reverend Lebogang Rampuru and created a sacred space for women to engage in heartfelt worship, prayer, and spiritual reflection. Attendees experienced a time of encouragement and renewal as they united in faith and fellowship.
The programme featured ministry from several guest speakers, including Pastor Blessing Nelani, Reverend Nosizwe Raboroko, Minister Gloria Sebola, and Prophet Zandile Dunjwa. Each speaker shared messages focused on hope, restoration, and the unwavering faithfulness of God.

Through their messages and personal testimonies, the speakers encouraged the women in attendance to remain steadfast in their faith despite life’s challenges.
Church member Tshegofatso Phetha described the event as ‘mind-blowing’ and said the event was mind-blowing and a start of greater things for the church. Another attendee, Lungile Maluleke, said the gathering was both a blessing and fulfilling to the soul.
The host expressed gratitude to the guest speakers, attendees, volunteers, as well as her husband and church leader, Apostle Rampuru, for their contributions to the event.

“The gathering was aimed at creating a platform where women could seek God, receive encouragement, experience healing, and be strengthened in their faith,” she said.
The Wailing Women gathering left a lasting impression on attendees, many of whom departed feeling spiritually strengthened, refreshed, and empowered to continue their personal faith journeys with renewed purpose.
