The smell of sizzling meat and the sound of laughter filled the air as families and friends gathered at the Tuinhekkie in Elandsvlei for the Vleisfees on Saturday afternoon, August 1.
The popular festival attracted crowds from across the West Rand, all eager to enjoy an afternoon filled with entertainment, delicious food and a vibrant market atmosphere.

Visitors were spoilt for choice with a variety of food and craft stalls, as well as mouthwatering meat dishes, making it a true celebration of local flavour and community spirit.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, from arcade games and camel rides to browsing handmade goods and unique products on display. Live music performances kept the festive atmosphere alive and entertained the crowds throughout the afternoon.

Children laughed and played while adults relaxed with good food and great company, embracing the spirit of togetherness for which the Vleisfees has become known.

With a strong lineup of artists and ongoing entertainment, the festivities were set to continue well into the evening, ensuring the celebrations carried on long after the sun went down.
Once again, the Vleisfees proved to be a highlight on the local events calendar, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun, flavour and unforgettable memories.
