Male health and hygiene boost at Girls and Boy Town

The Cya and Canyee Foundation had a handover at Girls and Boys Town to focus on the health of young men.

The Cya and Canyee Foundation recently distributed hygiene packs to learners of Girls and Boys Town.

Leading from the front and initiating the outreach were founders 17-year-old Siyamthanda Mkhaliphi and 20-year-old Khanyisile Mkhaliphi.

According to Khanyisile, the foundation launched this unique initiative that focuses on the hygiene and mentoring of young men. On this day they took the opportunity to hand out hygiene packets to the male learners of Girls and Boys Town.

TikTok sensation Mainly Lebo also joined the handover as a guest.

“It was a truly momentous day for the foundation and it offered us the opportunity to focus on male health and hygiene,” Khanyisile stated.

The foundation was established in 2023 as a way to offer underprivileged people an opportunity to take charge in life.
