RHS plays for success

Randfontein High School won a nail-biter hockey match against Hoërskool Jan de Klerk High School in Krugersdorp.

Randfontein High School (RHS) and Hoërskool Jan de Klerk High School locked horns on the hockey field at the Greenhills Stadium recently with RHS edging a 3–2 win.

The age group in action was the U16 hockey girls.

Michelle Monyepau, Othandwayo Vellem and Khanyisile Magwebu scored the three goals for RHS with coach Hannie Henson describing the match as strenuous and a real nail-biter.

“We are excited for the season ahead and looking forward to each match. Our preparation is going smoothly and we hope to keep on winning,” Hannie said.
