The sky is the limit for Westgold learner Liano
After achieving multiple awards at the RACA Eisteddfod and Allegretto, Liano Pretorius is striving to achieve more.
Grade Four Westgold Primary learner, Liano Pretorius, has collected multiple cultural awards and is yet to participate in many more competitions to showcase his talents.
At the RACA Eisteddfod, Liano won a diamond award for his religious Prose. He also won gold in the dramatised Poetry category and won another gold for his performance in the Scene/ Dialogue category.
He was also announced as the Grade Four category winner of Religious Poetry at the eisteddfod.
While at the Allegretto, Liano participated in the Provincial Religious Prose and on November 2, he will be participating at the Allegretto Nationals for Religious Prose. He also succeeded in the Provincial Prepared Reading.
According to school spokesperson Mariska du Plessis, Westgold is proud of Liano’s cultural achievements.
“Keep doing what you love, Liano, because the sky is the limit,” she concluded.
