The new RCL for Randfontein High School has been chosen.

Randfontein High School has elected their new Representative Council of Learners (RCL).

Rodney Prins, school spokesperson explained the new RCL was elected on August 1 and their first duty was to work at the Randfontein Arts and Culture Association. He stated the senior council was voted for electronically on a student portal.

Their duties include dealing with learner affairs and representing the learner component of the School Governing Body.

“It was a free and fair election where the entire school could choose who they want to represent them,” stated Rodney.

Trivino Miller was elected head boy with Nobuhle Mafokane as head girl and Leano Sejoe as president.

“The school is proud to yet again be trendsetters in motion as there’s no council as versatile and exciting as the RHS senior council,” said Rodney.
