More than a decade’s education finally pays off for Jannas matrics

The matric class of 2024 at Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School was ecstatic on their last day of school and are now looking forward to what the future holds.

Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School’s class of 2024 can finally breathe a sigh of relief following the release of today’s matric results.

The Randfontein Herald visited the school on January 14 where matriculants gleefully celebrated the end of 12 school years.

Amahle Gumede.

Amahle Gumede said that she does not even have the words the express her feelings. She added by God’s grace she passed Grade 12. She will be focusing her future on her accounting dreams.

Sunell Jansen van Vuuren.

Sunell Jansen van Vuuren would like to study HR at Unisa.

Byron Johnston and Matthew Dreyer.

Byron Johnston and Matthew Dreyer are very happy to have finished their final year of school. They both said they are looking forward to buying a house and studying.

Lesego Nkwabela and Sinekhaya Mgqawana.

Kgethoyaka Motloung, Itumeleng Motitsoe and Ronewa Muenda said they are anxious about what the future brings. They added they have given 12 years of hard work and they are very proud of this achievement.

“I am so relieved and excited. I feel like I can fly. Now I do not have to wake up early anymore,” Sinekhaya Ngqawana explained.
