Joyous tears as RHS matrics get their results

The matriculants of Randfontein High School (RHS) are ready to enter the big world following the release of the matric results.

The Class of 2024 at Randfontein High School (RHS) had much to celebrate after receiving their matric results.

With numerous matriculants receiving distinctions, both former learners and teachers were all smiles on January 14.

Tshepang Ratsaka is happy with his results.

Some matrics already know what they will be studying this year while others are still deciding. One thing is certain, all agreed that they are happy to be done with school.

The government also proudly congratulated the Class of 2024 for their outstanding performance in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.

Lesego Serobatse received five distinctions.

“With a pass rate of 87.3%, the matriculants have exceeded the 82.9% achieved in 2023, marking an impressive improvement of 4.4%. The Class of 2024 has worked hard and with determination, reflecting a collective effort from learners, teachers, parents, guardians and caregivers,” said acting government spokesperson Nomonde Mnukwa.
