Golden moves: Riebeeckrand dancers wow judges at American Dance Awards

A special moment of pride was shared after five learners from Hoërskool Riebeeckrand High School achieved remarkable results at the American Dance Awards.

Hoërskool Riebeeckrand High School has expressed pride in its talented learners who excelled at the recent American Dance Awards held in Pretoria.

Five learners – Rianell Bezuidenhout, Thakgalo Sello, Miané Jacobs, Chiné van Niekerk and Nicole Booyse – achieved remarkable success in various categories.

Rianell and Thakgalo jointly received the U21 Best Choreography Award for their outstanding duet performance, while all five learners also earned individual accolades.

Rianell Bezuidenhout received:

• Gold, Special Award and Category Winner for Competitive Hip Hop Solo
• Ultimate Gold and Category Winner for Competitive Hip Hop Duo
• Overall High Score runner-up
• Gold and Special Award for Teen Competitive Group
• Ultimate Gold, Category Winner and Special Award for Adult Competitive Group

Thakgalo Sello received:

• Ultimate Gold, Special Award and Category Winner for Competitive Hip Hop Solo
• Ultimate Gold and Category Winner for Competitive Hip Hop Duo
• Overall High Score runner-up
• Gold and Special Award for Teen Competitive Group
• Ultimate Gold, Category Winner and Special Award for Adult Competitive Group

Miané Jacobs received:

• Gold for Competitive Hip Hop Solo
• Gold and Special Award for Teen Competitive Group
• Chiné van Niekerk received:
