Riebeeckrand Class of 2025 celebrates a new beginning

Faith, relief, and big dreams filled the air as Riebeeckrand’s Class of 2025 celebrated their matric results and looked ahead to what lies beyond the classroom.

Hoërskool Riebeeckrand High School’s Class of 2025 proudly received their matric results, marking the end of an important chapter and the beginning of new journeys ahead.

The moment was filled with pride and celebration as learners reflected on their school years and looked toward the future.

Matriculant Kayle Nortje shared her relief at finally completing her school career, saying it feels good to be done after a very enjoyable year.

Sharney Collins also expressed her excitement for the future, looking forward to pursuing a career in cosmetology and feeling relieved to have completed high school.

Elder and Evangelist at Spirit of Christ Ministries, Tlhoriso Phake, expressed how proud the ministry is of all the matriculants and encouraged them to continue striving for success.

Quoting scripture, Tlhoriso reminded learners that setbacks do not define their future.

“In the Bible, it says dry bones shall live again. Isaiah teaches us to reset our mindset and not dwell on the past. God is planning brand-new things for these youngsters, so they must never surrender or lose hope,” he said.

Addressing those who may feel disappointed by their results, he added, “This is not the end of life. Stand up, shake off the dust and move forward.”

He further emphasised that challenges such as drugs, bullying and alcohol should not distract learners from their goals, encouraging them instead to listen to and respect their teachers.
