LETTER: Why don’t we get the help we deserve?

Resident writes how many people near West Street in Westonaria's houses are overflowing with sewage on the inside and outside of their homes.

• Anonymous writes:

After so many attempts to get the people of the municipality to open main sewerage drains in West Street and other parts of Westonaria, they just ignore the people of the town who pays their salaries.

No help from them. Now we need help outside of this town to get them to start doing what they are paid for.

Many people near West Street in Westonaria’s houses are overflowing with sewage on the inside and outside of their homes. The smell is so unbearable and the residents with small children that are suffering with running stomachs and cramps and vomiting do not have money for medicines, and the adults are also starting to get sick now.

The person that was contacted is responsible for not answering the public, who is seeking help in this regard.

We as the people have approached the newspaper, maybe then will we get the help we deserve.
