Moddies boasts of talented athletes, netball players

Laerskool Modderfontein Primary are very proud of their talented netball players and athletes.

Laerskool Modderfontein Primary is proud of its athletes and netball teams who did exceptionally well recently.

A teacher at the school, Jeane-Merie Liebetrau said two of their learners participated in the South African Championship. Akani Kubayi (U13) came 6th in the long jump and Tshedza Seripane (U10) came 3rd in the high jump.

“These learners practiced hard throughout the season and were eventually rewarded for their hard work.”

Jeane-Merie said the school’s U13A and U13B netball teams are prepared for the upcoming netball season.

“In 2022, the first team lost only one game and plans on taking no losses this year. The U13B team came out on top, claiming the D2 league and D2 championship in 2022.”
