The inspired becomes the inspirer

As Jaylin Wilson continues his football journey, he hopes to inspire others to start their own.

Jaylin Wilson (17) is making his way to the top as he continues his football journey and wants to inspire others to do the same.

The 17-year-old currently plays for the Greenhills Super Tigers Football Club as a defender. However, he took his first football steps when he was only seven years old.

Jaylin was inspired by his father, who was also a football player.

“While growing up, I used to watch my father play. He taught me to love the sport.

My father is my biggest role model because he has been there for me through my roughest times,” he expressed.

He described football as a sport that enables amazing teamwork and encouragement. Not only does Jaylin want to be a professional player, but he also wants to inspire others.

“I dream of playing on TV, but most importantly, I want to be a role model for my younger brother,” he said.

Furthermore, the young football player advised those who are new to the sport.

“Always work hard for what you want, no matter how poor or difficult your circumstances are. Push hard and keep your faith – believe that God will help you,” he concluded.
