Jannas soccer claim 2 wins against KHS

Jannas’ U17s and first team came out on top, while the U15 sides settled for a share of the spoils in a competitive day of school soccer.

Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School enjoyed a successful home outing against Krugersdorp High School (KHS) on August 13, recording two wins and a draw across the three soccer fixtures.

The U15 sides played to a 0–0 draw, while Jannas’ U17 team secured a 2–0 victory. In the first-team clash, Jannas edged KHS 2–1 after first-half goals from Boitshepo Kakgola and Vutivi Mashele.

KHS pulled one back before half-time, setting up a tense second half. The match became increasingly physical after the break, but Jannas held on to secure the 2-1 win.
