Young footballers from Dice FC in Mohlakeng have received a boost after the Office of the Executive Mayor donated soccer kits and sports equipment to the junior club.

This donation was made following a request from Mr. Modise Molatlhegi, who approached the municipality for assistance to help support the club’s young players, who compete in the Randfontein Local Football Association.

Mr. Peter Thebe, Acting Manager in the Office of the Executive Mayor, welcomed Molatlhegi and oversaw the handover of the equipment.

The donation will benefit players in four age groups: U9, U11, U13, and U15 teams.

These resources will provide the young players with improved equipment and new team attire, helping them as they continue to participate in football activities and competitions.

This initiative underscores the importance of supporting grassroots sport and creating opportunities for young people to develop their sporting talents within their local communities.
