Senior players showcase skill at Rand West Master Ladies Soccer Tournament in Mohlakeng
Female senior citizens took to the pitch to demonstrate their passion and talent in a competitive showpiece in Mohlakeng.
Age proved no barrier as senior women took to the field during the Rand West Master Ladies Soccer Tournament at the Patrick “Ace” Ntsoelengoe Stadium.
Hosts Mohlakeng Women of Worth beat Dan Tloome Seeds of Life 3–0, while Afrivillage Tigers defeated Simunye 4–0.
In the final, Afrivillage Tigers beat Mohlakeng Women of Worth 3–1. Angela Manake, Dipuo Mohamme and Mosidi Moalusi scored for the Tigers, while Keitumetse Gonaina scored the consolation goal for Women of Worth.

“It was really a day for us to remember and a good outing for us as soccer-playing female senior citizens, mostly 60 and above, to come together as one,” said organiser and Women of Worth captain Fiedah Keet.
Keet thanked Rand West City Local Municipality, the Gauteng Department of Sport, Art, Culture and Recreation, and Lenmed doctors Dr Babedi and Dr Sebei for their support.
