Toekomsrus boxer lands knockout performance on judges

Toekomsrus boxer Cayler Stellenburg delivered a commanding performance, securing a unanimous 3-0 victory after three action-packed rounds.

The second ‘Shaya Thursday’ development boxing tournament delivered a night of big hits and non-stop action at Emperors Palace’s Sol Castro on Heritage Day, September 24.

Among the amateur boxers who stepped into the ring was Toekomsrus’ Cayler Stellenburg, who faced Bedfordview’s Tshepo Mokena.

Stellenburg, wearing the blue trunks, went up against Mokena, in the red trunks, in a three-round bout.

After three exhilarating rounds, Stellenburg proved too good for Mokena, with the judges scoring the fight 3-0 in the Toekomsrus boxer’s favour.

The tournament, held at the Sol Castro (Convention Centre undercover parking), provided an opportunity for amateur boxers to showcase their skills in front of spectators.
