The Centurion SPCA held a family fun day for community members of Centurion and Pretoria on Saturday.
The event was held at the SPCA premises and it started at 08:00.
Manager of the Centurion SPCA, Christina Masemola, said the aim of hosting the family fun day was to show the community that we at the SPCA appreciate their support.
Residents pitched with their stalls to sell merchandise to those who attended the day.
Masemola encouraged all to continue supporting the SPCA and said hopefully most of the animals will be adopted.
People helped by feeding the animals as well as cleaning the kennels and the cattery to show their love for animals.

She said this is not the first time they held such an event and encouraged community members to continue supporting the SPCA.
Masemola concluded by saying it will also be encouraging that residents should support the SPCA by donating anything that can help keep the SPCA running.
