Actor Patrick Shai passes away

At the time of publication, it was suspected that he committed suicide.

Patrick Shai.

Renowned actor Patrick Shai has reportedly died.

Details surrounding his death are still not clear.

However, according to police reports, it is suspected that he committed suicide at his home in Dobsonville on Saturday morning.

Shai was a involved in many programmes which fought against GBV and domestic violence not only in Soweto but across South Africa.

He is also known for his roles in Soul City, Generations, Zero Tolerance as well as 7de Laan.
