Injured Dachshund found in Lavender Road

A Sinoville resident is hoping to find the owner of a Dachshund she found lying injured in the road.

A light brown female Dachshund was recently found in Lavender Road after being hit by a car. Sinoville resident Magda van Rheede said she came across the dog last week Thursday during a storm. “From where I sat in my office I could hear the dog howling. She got hit by a car and was struggling to walk. It seems as though her rear right leg got hurt,” Van Rheede said.

The dog was taken to the Zambesi Animal Hospital, where she was treated and kept overnight at no cost. “It must be someone from Annlin’s pet. I hope that the owner will come and fetch her, she is a very timid and loving dog,” Van Rheede added.
