Power failure in Clubview

It is expected that the power in Clubview will be restored by 24:00 on Tuesday evening.

The residents of Clubview suburb are still experiencing a power outage after cables were stolen, the Tshwane Metro said on Tuesday.

“Upon examining the area it was discovered that the outage was as a result of two 11kV cables which had been stolen. Consequently a third fault developed affecting more consumers in the same vicinity.”

Technicians and repair teams are on site busy attending to the problem. It is expected that the power will be restored by 24:00 on Tuesday evening.

The following streets in the suburb are still affected: Ceder, Ashwood, Birch, Kameeldoring, Poplar and Wag n bietjie.

Affected customers are urged to report power failures by sms  the word power followed by your account number to 082 612 0333. Or report a power failure to 012 358 9999, choosing the electricity option or 080 111 556.
