Armed robbery at Forest Hill Shopping Centre

Three armed robbers were on Tuesday still at large , police said.

Police are searching for three armed men after they allegedly robbed the Vodashop in Forest Hill Shopping Centre on Monday afternoon.

According to police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma, the alleged robbers pointed firearms at the staff. “At about 17:50, three suspects entered the Vodashop and pointed workers with firearms. They took new cell phones from the safe and fled,” said Huma.

Huma could not confirm the value of the stolen items.

“No one was injured and there was no shooting. The suspects were driving a Silver Audi with no registration number. We are investigating a case of business robbery. Anyone with information can contact Olievenhoutbosh Police Station on 012 652 0083,” Huma said.
