Four armed men are reportedly still at large after they robbed a cell phone shop at Centurion Mall on Wednesday evening.
According to a post on Crime Lookout’s Facebook page, an MTN shop inside the mall was robbed.
“Hi-Risk Unit Rapid Response Unit (K9-4) was on scene within seconds together with various emergency response units. 8 suspects involved including 1 female,” the post said.
Police, however, are currently unable to provide further information. “We can only confirm that the Lyttelton police are investigating an armed robbery at the MTN shop in Centurion Mall,” said police spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach.
