Man sought in murder probe

The police are searching for man they believe could help in a probe into the murder of a forensic auditor in Johannesburg.

The police are searching for a man they believe might be able to help with their investigation into the murder of forensic auditor Lawrence Moepi in Johannesburg last year.

Mpho David Nkosi he could be anywhere in Gauteng, says police spokesperson Lieutenant General Solomon Makgale.

“Nkosi, who is in his 30s, is wanted in connection with the murder of Moepi, who was a Johannesburg forensic auditor. Moepi was shot and killed in the parking lot outside his workplace in Houghton on 18 October 2013. At the time of his death, he was heading a forensic service unit at the accounting and auditing firm Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo.”

Another man, Remember Siporo, was arrested 1 December 2013 in connection with the killing. He was denied bail when he appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on 24 April and remanded in custody. He will appear in the High Court in Johannesburg on 17 November.
