Two men were arrested on Thursday when security officers caught them jumping walls of residences in Moreleta Park.
It is believed the men were trying to break into a house in Hoyt Street when they were caught by Bull Security and taken into custody by Garsfontein police.
Bull Security spokesman French Jooste said a client called the control room at around 11:00, claiming two men had jumped over her property’s wall, damaging it as they entered her property.
“The two alleged thieves tried to flee by jumping back over the wall as reaction officers approached,” Jooste said. “They ran towards De Villabois Mareuil Road where they were cornered and nabbed by Bull Security reaction officers.”
The client identified the culprits and they were taken into custody.
“No break-in equipment was found on the men and we suspect they might have disposed of it while running,” Jooste said.
