
The Tshwane metro police arrested another suspected drug dealer at his home in Moreleta Park on Friday morning following the discovery of a massive drug lab in Onderstepoort.
According to Tshwane metro police spokesperson, Snr Sup Isaac Mahamba, they followed up information after the drug lab bust that lead them to the whereabouts of a 27-year-old man in Moreleta Park.
The metro police confiscated drugs to the street value of R2 600 at the man’s home.
The man was arrested for suspected drug dealing and will appear in court soon.
Three men and a woman were also arrested on Friday when the metro police uncovered a drug laboratory and found drugs valued at between R1 million and R3 million in Onderstepoort.
The metro police found laboratory equipment, crystal meth, a compressor, two steamers, a bottle marked ‘benzene’, several containers, chemicals and rubber gloves.
They also found various types of drugs which had been manufactured on the premises, but they could not determine the distribution destination.
