Christoff Becker granted parole

The infamous Christoff Becker, one of the Waterkloof-4, has been granted parole on Friday.

Convicted murderer, Christoff Becker, was granted parole by the high court in Pretoria on Friday morning.

According to reports, Becker, one of the Waterkloof-4, applied for urgent parole on Thursday morning which had been granted by Judge André Louw on Friday. The nature of the urgency is unknown at this stage.

Becker, who was arrested only five days after he was granted parole earlier this year, will be released on the same parole conditions as his previous parole during February.

The Waterkloof four, Becker, Gert van Schalkwyk, Frikkie du Preez, and Reinach Tiedt were jailed for killing a homeless man in 2001.
