Mamelodi man to appear over child’s death
The man who allegedly shot dead eight-year-old Nthabiseng Ramokoka during an argument with his wife is back in court on Monday.
A 50-year-old man, who allegedly shot dead eight-year-old Nthabiseng Ramokoka in Mamelodi last Thursday, is to appear in the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court again on Monday.
He made his first appearance on Friday on charges of murder, attempted murder and kidnapping. The matter was postponed to Monday.
The man allegedly shot and killed Nthabiseng after an argument with his wife, who ran to a neighbour’s shack to seek help.
The argument moved to Ramokoka’s house, where the man allegedly fired two shots, one of which hit baby Nthabiseng in the head and killed her.
