Another video of an armed robbery at a Shell filling station has surfaced and had been recorded in December.
Andre Snyman from Eblockwatch suspects the armed man might have been the same robber who held up the Shell station in Clubview.
“We want this video to spread as far and wide as possible. If someone has more information regarding the man or has the technology to decipher the video they are urged to contact us immediately,” he said.
The video shows the robber casually walking into the Shell filling station located in Atterbury Road. He held the cashier at gunpoint and presumably demanded cash. A petrol attendant entered the shop unaware of what was happening.
Rekord reported earlier about another lone gunman armed with a shotgun and wearing a balaclava who had robbed a Shell filling station in Clubview on the Old Johannesburg Road.
The robber, believed to be in his late twenties, was seen on closed-circuit television entering and robbing the filling station’s convenience store.
Snyman urged Eblockwatch members to send a WhatsApp message to 062-442-7994 and join three groups and non-members to send the word REGISTER to become part of the group.
