Two arrested over stolen medicine
Two alleged drug dealers were arrested when the metro police found substances worth thousands of rands in their possession.
Illegal substances and medicine to the value of about R200 000 were confiscated by the Tshwane metro police in Wierda Park, Centurion, on Tuesday.
Two alleged drug dealers, who apparently stole the medicine, were arrested.
Metro police spokesperson Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said officers were patrolling the area when they noticed a suspicious vehicle and searched it for illegal substances.
“Officers found illegal substances and medicine to the estimated value of R200 000 inside the vehicle,” Mahamba said.
Mahamba said the drug offenders would appear in court soon.
