Three women who allegedly raped a twenty-one-year old man in Diepsloot are still at large. Warrant Officer Daniel Mavimbela said no leads had been received yet, but investigations were continuing. “A case of rape has been opened against the suspects and investigations continue.”
On Sunday, 25 January, three women approached the twenty-one-year-old man in extension 12 and pretended to be lost.
They then asked him for directions and suddenly pointed a firearm at him, forcing him into a white Toyota Tazz they were driving.
“The man was forced to have sexual intercourse with one of the women at gunpoint. He was then left on the side of the road,” Mavimbela said.
Mavimbela asked the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
