Police were on Wednesday still searching for five armed men who robbed Cash Converters at Mall @ Reds in Centurion on Sunday morning.
Wierdabrug police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the police investigation was continuing.
Rekord on Sunday reported that robbers waited outside the shop and struck when a woman unlocked the doors just after 08:00.
Orange Fox Security Solutions spokesperson André Hills said two men pulled out 9mm pistols and followed her into the store.
A firearm was pointed at another worker as he entered the store shortly after and he was forced to open the safe.
An undisclosed amount of money, gold and two laptops were stolen.
Orange Fox arrived on the scene within minutes after the panic button was pressed, but the robbers had already fled in a black BMW and white Corsa bakkie.
According to police the vehicles had no number plates.
