Man shot dead in Atteridgeville
A 65-year-old man was found dead in an Atteridgeville street on Thursday.
A man was shot dead in Maunde Street, Atteridgeville, on Thursday evening.
Police spokesperson Captain Thomas Mufamadi said the 65-year-old man was found dead in the street around 19h05. He was shot in the head.
“Police were alerted by a local and discovered a man lying on the street with a wound to his head.”
Mfumadi said it was not clear why the man was killed.
A murder docket was opened at the Atteridgeville police station and investigations were continuing.
