Family remembers ‘lovable’ young man killed in Pretoria North bike crash

Sydney Stander’s family remembers him as a lovable young man with a mischievous side. He was killed in an accident on Sunday morning.

A man in his 20s died in a motorcycle crash in Pretoria North early on Sunday, September 27.

Family members remember Sydney Stander as a lovable young man known for his mischievous side. They said his father was also killed in a motorcycle crash when the young man was 14.

According to the Emergency Support Team (EST), its Lazarus Ford Centurion community support vehicle responded to the scene at about 04:00. EST members assisted other emergency services at the scene. The team confirmed that one person died.

No funeral arrangements have been made. The circumstances of the crash have not been disclosed.
