A woman was murdered in Olivenhoutbosch and police discovered her body on Monday morning.
A body of a dead woman was found lying half-naked in a bush in Olivenhoutbosch on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said a passerby alerted police to the body on the R55 near Thatchfield area.
“Police found a half-naked body of a woman lying in the bushes with visible stabbing wounds on her throat. The deceased is aged between 20 and 25.”
Moloto said police had not ruled out the possibility that the woman might have been raped, and investigation continued.
A murder docket was opened at Olivenhoutbosch police station.
